As summer fades into fall, the Project Mercy Baja team has been busy visiting families on our waitlist for a new home.

The requests are many. Some come from families in long-established neighborhoods, while others are from brand-new colonias carved out of the land just recently.  No matter where they live, the need is urgent—each family longs for the safety and security of a solid house.

Walking through these communities in the heat and dust of summer, our hearts ached at the harsh living conditions. Later in the week, when the rains came, that ache deepened into anguish, knowing how vulnerable these families remain.

And yet, there is hope. We are profoundly grateful to the many groups who have already committed to building sturdy Project Mercy homes in the coming months. Your generosity brings families not just shelter, but dignity and a brighter future.

The need continues—and so does our mission.
