The Gallegos Roblero family poured sweat equity into their new home yesterday. Mom and her six boys picked up hammers, carried boards, painted, and did everything they could to help bring their dream to life. Their determination and effort made the house not just a gift, but something they can proudly say they helped build with their own hands.

Even the family’s tiniest kitten wanted to pitch in—bounding across freshly painted boards and managing to give herself bright Persimmon-colored paws. Two-year-old Eliseo was not so sure about his pet’s new “paint job,” looking at her with wide eyes as if he couldn’t quite decide whether to laugh or be worried. The lighthearted moment brought smiles and laughter to everyone on the build site.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship, the Project Mercy Mexican crew, led by Roberto worked tirelessly to give this family a new beginning.

By the end of the day, the house stood tall and welcoming, a true reflection of the family’s spirit and resilience. As the last nail was hammered in and the final boards secured, Roberto handed the keys to the Gallegos Roblero family, officially marking the start of their new chapter. The six boys, their parents, and even the tiny kitten now have a safe place to call home—a place filled with hope, love, and opportunity.
