In a small neighborhood east of Tijuana, children are eager to spend part of their summer vacation in school.

Last week, several Project Mercy Baja board members visited the communities and families we serve in Mexico. The highlight of the trip was our final stop at the San Nicolas, the Project Mercy school, where 24 students were participating in a special summer English class.

As we entered the classroom, we were greeted by a joyful chorus of “Good morning!” from children excited to practice their English and continue learning~even during summer vacation.

Because of you, these children have access to education, dedicated teachers, and opportunities to build a brighter future. The visit ended with summer gifts and candy for the students—and plenty of smiles all around!

Thank you for helping make education something these children look forward to.
