Just five days after welcoming their baby boy, the young Cobos Estrada family was given a solid and welcoming home built with care and expertise led by seasoned Project Mercy volunteer Doug and the Project Mercy Mexican crew.
Alejandra was four months pregnant when she applied for a Project Mercy Home– she expressed worry about raising her child in a fragile house made of scrap materials, with no running water and roads that became impassable with rain.
This home will be the backdrop for their baby’s first steps, the place where family milestones are celebrated, and a sanctuary where they can finally feel secure and at peace.
