We would like to thank everyone involved in this year’s 24th edition of Baja Challenge.
Special thanks go to Devin Beale of Black Diamond Construction who somehow manages to juggle getting 20+ local companies and organizations to travel 20 miles south of the border to build homes for families in desperate need of safe and secure homes. It takes months of planning each year to pull off this extraordinary event, and we are forever indebted to Devin’s efforts.
We would also like to thank the membership of NAIOP San Diego for supporting another edition of Baja Challenge. NAIOP San Diego literally represents a “who’s who” in commercial/mixed use/retail and industrial real estate. Their 750+ local membership includes owners, real estate developers, investors, asset managers, consultants, and brokers who create the built environment we all work, shop, and recreate in.
In one day 350+ volunteers built 21 homes working side by side with the new home owners. At the end of the day handing them the keys to their new home. The “key ceremony” at each house was followed by many smiles, tears of joy and hugs around.
It’s an incredible feeling to know that Baja Challenge has again changed the lives of so many families in just one day.
We especially thank all the groups, individuals and companies involved for giving their support and making Baja Challenge a great success once again.
