When construction manager John Zawis approached St. Mark’s United Methodist Church regarding our desire to build an addition on to a small schoolhouse, they jumped at the opportunity of getting involved. They raised the funds and participated in building the much needed extra schoolroom for the new Project Mercy school project, which was spearheaded by our friends Renate and Gerry.
Pastor Jeri Newell-Davis wrote to us after the event and said: “Thank you for the opportunity of sharing in the gift of love for our neighbors. It was an honor to be a part of this project. We continue to hold the students and the entire community in our prayers as they grow in faith and wisdom”.
We thank everyone for their support in this new venture.
