Tania, Jorge and son Daniel, have been living in a tiny trailer with Tania’s parents since they were married six years ago.
Together they earned $135 before the pandemic cut back hours and wages. They live day to day with no electricity or running water. Their earnings are insufficient to cover basic household needs and save for a house too. They lived in very cramped quarters and had to take a pile of blankets to sleep in their car at night.
Happily, and thanks to a grant donation, we were able to finally provide them with a solid home this past weekend.
