Kilroy Realty Corporation gets the ball rolling for the Annual Baja Challenge with their sponsored build for the Martinez Arguello family. This year with 21 live builds on October 8th and 3 sponsored builds, Baja Challenge and Project Mercy Baja will build 24 badly needed new homes in a neighborhood 25 miles east of Tijuana.
The Martinez family worked alongside John Zawis, friends and our Mexican crew to build the first of these homes on October 1st. Mom Gilder told us: “Having a decent house is very important for our whole family because we have dreamed of one for a very long time. We are excited and happy for this opportunity. We are very grateful to the sponsors and thank God for putting them in our path.”
On October 8th another 21 houses will be built for equally grateful families. The additional sponsored builds will take place in the weeks following.
